Posted at October 27, 2015, 6:05 pm: This is a serious, well presented post on why a new, even if temporary moderator is recquired in the Songwriting and Lyrics forum. Please Burt, if you're reading this (which I doubt), we know you can't dedicate your entire life to this place, so please admit you need a little help while you get yourself together or something. Josh and DFelon, you know you're scarsely around, so... 1. New Rules (Lack of Application...): In order to make a tighter community, Burt implemented the "one critique, one song" rule. This is hardly eve implemented, just worked a couple times, and now there is people not even reading the basic rules! There is an incessant need to tell people where to go, what to do, etc. 2. Songwriting: The songwriting implies music, right? Well, The Jam Session gathers all that's needed for this question, so many people are directed over there. We need someone who is in contact with The Jam Session Moderators to move threads regarding this subject to their forum, or taking the "songwriting" part out of the name, and make it "Songwriting/The Jam Session" and just "Lyrics". Or actually changing the current dynamics of the forum to make it a proper "Songwriting and Lyrics" Forum. 3. Closing Threads/Banning Jerks/Etc. . This is not as hard, I'm usually visiting the Ask the mods section to ask for thread closure, but I don't know how the Jam Session works very well, so I wouldn't dare to ask a thread to be moved. 4. More propositive Forum: I like it the way it is, but I'd like the forum to have more...dynamic forum, to say it in a way. Articles, discussion, I don't know. It needs a more dynamic way of being. There is no need to say that it is a slow moving forum: I know it, I've been there the past 1 1/2 years posting there, and it's not a problem to have the extra threads, it's not a problem to report the things, it's not a problem to do all that crap, but a new moderator is needed, since the most active one (Burt) is currently dissapeared. I'm not asking him to be here all the time, he just needs someone to aid him, that's all to it really.
