Here we go again..... Why?

I realized I haven't used my 8" tom since the last refinish (over a year ago) and I had it with me at home. I've also had a thing for vintage White marine finish for a long time, and I would've done it already but wraps cost too much. Also, I'm not that satisfied with the results of the last operation. The color is cool but I want more gloss and.. well, it just ain't perfect. The last nail in the coffin was BB's extraordinary job on that beaten up drum. Didn't realize something as cool as sparkle paint would exist, now I've got one.

Since my 8" tom is without use, I'm only doing it first. If it turns out good, the rest of the drums will follow. I'm going for a white sparkle, don't remember seeing that before! Almost as good as white marine.
