I need help with this one 6/8 snare piece called "Master Mind". It's a beginner snare piece, but I don't quite understand it. In the beginning, it has a roll that goes on to the next measure.

So it basically has a roll that goes into the 2nd measure, and the 2nd measure goes....

8th note, 8th note, 8th note, flam , 8th note, 8th note.

So for the roll, would I roll for 1 a 2 a 3 a 4 a 5 a 6 a and then as I go into the 2nd measure go 8th note, 8th note, 8th note, flam , 8th note, 8th note.

So if I played it it would go...

(roll) 1 a 2 a 3 a 4 a 5 a 6 a (end roll) (next measure) 8th , 8th , 8th , flam , 8th , 8th .

or does nobody understand me..
