okay ill try and make this easy

i have a ****ty 15 watt solid state

i also have a ****ty 100 watt solid state.




i think the overdrive sounds better on the 15 watt, than the 100 watt (fender 212r, sounds like puke). is there anyway i can take the overdrive from my 15 watt and put it in the 100 watt? or is that a stupid nub question.

heres my problem.

i hate the tone of my boss md-2 it sounds too. ugh.... how do i say. too nu-metal? i want ovvverdrive. not distortion. i have a boss superoverdrive but i can only use it as a blues overdrive because if i wanted to use it as say for a metallica/megadeth type distortion/overdrive it just isnt enough. now im not much of a metal/punk guy, but thats all the bands that their are around here so i sort of need good distortion.

any pedal recomendations if the whole overdrive swap thing is impossible?
