So, to get into the spirit of Halloween with my friends (or more so, they have awesome diy decoration in their room and I bought this adorable grim reaper from a crafts store, but it's hidden in a corner because my roommate doesn't like how it clashes with her stuff) I was thinking of making masks. However, I need some tips.

I was going to buy liquid latex and plaster cloth and make both latex and plaster masks. My plan is to do as follows, but tell me if you have any better ideas or if this just plain won't work.

The person getting their mask made wears a swim cap so none of her hair gets nasty. We essentially put a bag over their face with nose holes and have straws hanging out of their noses so they won't have to worry about obstructing their breathing. Then we pour the plaster over/place the plaster cloth over her face and dry it a little quicker with a hair dryer (for her comfort). Then I was thinking, especially with the latex, it would be cool to put tissues and stuff under the bag to make warped facial features. Then we paint the masks to make them look awesome.

Do yall think it'll work?
