Well, mine's gone dramatically downhill recently. Last year we were treated to some nice alternative indie in one room, and a good mix of metal/nu-metal/emo/hardcore/ska/punk in the other. To be honest it was my favourite night of the week. But it seems the DJs have run out of decent tracks to play, and have resorted to bombarding us with Franz Ferdinand and The Killers for about 6 hours straight in one room, and Metallica in the other. So could anyone suggest to me any decent new bands/singles from your own local nights of the same variety, that i could pass on to the DJs, which are both dance worthy yet not too... poppy?

(I am also aware that the DJs probably know a hell of a lot more about the current alternative/indie music scene, but they don't damn well show it. So this is just a kick up the backside)
