Hey guy's I have a friend who has been playing guitar for alittle over a year and he has just joined a band that will be playing mainly metal. He was looking at this guitar http://www.music123.com/Jackson-JS30-i71157.music and was thinking of putting active EMG's in it. Do you think that guitar is worth the purchase and the upgrade? I'm more of an Ibanez man myself so I have no clue about this guitar.

EDIT:: Forgot to mention he want's a guitar with a Floyd type locking trem on it.
