Posted at October 25, 2016, 8:22 pm: So okay, I'm finally saving up for a head and a cab, and, as many, I have decided to buy an Avatar Cab with an Ashdown head. (All the cabs I'm going to talk about next are Avatars, so you don't get confused) The thing is, I first decided to get a 2x12 cab (Mainly because they say it is good for mids, which I abuse), and if I ever wanted to buy another one, I would just buy another 212 cab, to fit it better. However, I also think about the future, and looking at many of the rig's of my favorite bassists, I notice they have a 410 for every 115 they have. Most likely, because it is a good combination as 115 tends to be more bassy, and 410 tend to be more bright (I know it doesn't always happen, I'm talking about the majority of the cases) giving it a very good versatility. I don't know, I'm confused. I may be getting ahead of myself and should just settle down for a 212 and then save up for a bass (keeping in mind that my only bass is a Yamaha RBX170). So what should I do? I'm kinda confused here. I posr a poll with all the combinations I can think of, to see if you can help me out .
