ok i recently got a peavy classic tube amp, its my first tube amp and i love it. though every once and awhile after being on for a bit, the tone changes to a muddier, bassier sound. i've tried connecting to a seperate cab and the same thing happens. is this a sign of bad tubes or what? please help me out, i apologize if this is a dumb question, i just know little about tube amps.

I duno, try letting your tubes warm up first.

The problem could just be your EQ settings in conjunction with the way...

Classics dont have a standby switch first off, and they dont require b...

Classic 50's do have a standby switch, 30 and Delta do not.
