i've been learning theory lately. i started like a year or so ago and got bored... but about a week ago i spent literally like 10 hours on this one site. i forgot what it was, but it doesnt matter because i learned everything on there basically. well, i was wondering if there even is "soloing theory" so to speak.. i still havent found anything that gives a method of finding what key a song is in.. most sites just say "listen for what sounds right" or whatever. but by soloing theory, i'm not so sure what im asking for.. haha. i guess it would involve taking the background chords and soloing over them and gives "theory" for the soloing..

i dont know.. i have no idea what i' talking about..

I assume by soloing you mean improvising over a sequence of chords.
