This is going to kick ***. I just took out some more of his CD's at the library, and I couldn't believe it. He pulls off some insanely brilliant things in "The Spanish Entomologist" and he goes faster than any other acoustic song I've heard on a live version of "Busted Bicycle". The slide work he does is utterly amazing, especially because it's in league with keeping a fingerpicking rhythm. He also gets this really cool jazz thing going on "Bean Time." Seriously, if you have never heard Leo Kottke, go out to a local library and check out a CD or two by him. You WILL be blown away.

Anyway, yeah, I'm going to see him live with Mike Gordon
