Hey, I've been playing roughly a year but I started anchoring yesterday. By most standards my alt. picking was already pretty fast. I used to keep my hand "floating" over the string while picking but this often led to the occasional error. Since anchoring, my play has become cleaner and slightly faster. My only question is, should I go back to my old technique (is it better in the long run?). Or should I just do what feels comfortable?
