I've been thinking about getting a bigger better amp for a while since I will probably be playing some gigs this year with my band. I've been looking at the Crate GT1200 halfstack and it seems pretty good. My friend has one and he likes it a lot. I think the distortion in itself is way better than my crappy metalzone pedal, but he uses a death metal distortion pedal into his crate. What do you think about it? Is it a good deal?

they're decent amps for the price, but you could get a better combo fo...
