I just bought a 14" Wuhan China. I see that most people mount their chinas upside-down. When I try this, the china always leans crazily to one side. It also doesn't seem to have any sustain, because of how it leans. Right side up it sounds great, but really chews up my sticks.

I have also seen drummers mount their chinas upside down and tilt it so it is hanging sideways instead of flat, or slightly angled. Why would you do this? How would you hit it?

Any advice or insight would be apreciated!
