Matsukura, the most reckless of a new generation of young orc blademasters, retrieves the Imperius Jade from the fabled archmage Angus, the Last of the Dalaran. ------------------------------- ((ha ha, that sounds cool- i just made it up))

DETAILED VERSION
------------------------------- OKay, all sorts of issues...
First and foremost - lighting.
I haven't commited to my light sources yet. I got wishy-washy between front-lit and backlit, but now that I have the sun back there, I'm pretty sure I want it to be mainly back lit (and of course have to paint in the secondary light source from the wand).
------------------
Proportions are a bit beefy, especially the archmage's hands for being an old man, but it's warcraft so it's okay.
The main thing bugging me right now is the archmage's arm/hand that is holding the reigns... What do you guys think, take out or move?
After that have to retexure the orc skin on the body. I was going for something rough, but not scaly. I experimented with a couple of diff things. I'm pretty happy how the head came out textured, though I want the body to be like that but slightly less rough.
Anyways, so much more to detail and light, I think i'm going to start with the sword...
I've been sort of drunkenly working on this lately due to lack of inspiration - hopefully I'll feel pushed to seriously work on it and finish now that I posted a WIP.

Paint-overs, crits, trash-talk, whatever are welcome...
Enjoy!...or don't...
