I went to Guitar Center today to play around with their stuff. I tried a Spector on a anguliar head and cab, I wasn't use to the spector neck. I tried a Geddy Lee Bass today and I fell in love with the neck. It felt so good and looked amazing. But I'm not a fan of J Bass tones. I tried the p bass I have at home on a behringer head and cab and I was surprised. I liked the tone I got out of it. I'm a fan of mids and low end, but not too much. And the behringer supplied it. But I doubt I would buy one because I need reliable gig gear. I'm disappointed GC doesnt carry Hartke's because I plan to get a Hartke head. I also tried an OLP on a behringer head and cab and it sounded great. My opinion of Behringer gear has changed a little. But overall it wasd a good visit. But my question is is it true that the truss rod on the Geddy Lee bass get maxed out easily? Because if I find the neck on ebay, I might buy it.
