I was studying about modes and looking at different chord progressions. Using the modes I tried to find the key of different songs. After a while I ended up at this tab

At the bottom of the tab is written;

THEN SOLO OVER D DORIAN:
Dm x 8 Bars
Dm x 8 Bars
Eb x 8 Bars
Dm x 8 Bars

Using my knowledge of the modes D dorian would mean:
D E F G A B C D, but the chord progression contains an Eb chord. Which theoretically wouldn't sound right.

Is the tab wrong or am I missing something.
Furthermore I would like to know how you figure out the key to the song.
