Posted at May 27, 2016, 11:16 pm: My band, As Days Go By, is looking for a second guitarist. We are located in the Lafitte/Marrero area. Corey, the former guitarist, has moved away and I'm looking for a replacement. I have written about 10 complete songs and just need someone to play them and add their own style and stuff to them. There is already one guitarist in the band who can play both rhythm and lead, so if you're especially good at either or both, you're welcome to try out. No specific age requirements, the bands ages range from 17 to 19, but your own gear and transportation is a must and the ability to sing/scream backup would be nice too, but not essential. We're not able to play now because our drummer is off working on a tugboat until November, but once he returns we will be ready to begin rehearsing the songs and even writing new ones. For those interested, I contact me and I can send you midi files of the songs that are completed so that you can get some sense of the music.
