This sounds like a stupid question, but, i've never personally had this done, so i wouldn't know how it would feel, and i'm not a drummer.

Anyway, my band have an important gig coming up, but two days before, our drummer is geting his ingrowing toenail removed from each of his feet (keep in mind, it will only be 1/4 of each of his big toenails), and i was wondering if you guys might know if he'd be able to play or not, as you may of past experiences of this kind of thing.

trust me, i've had this done 3 or 4 times, he won't hurt, the procedur...

I've had an ingrowing toenail, its a bit annoying but I played fine.

they give you a shot for the toe the ingrown nail is on to numb it.
