out of curiosity, i was just browsing a local shop's web site and was looking at snare drums. the tama lars ulrich signature snare with bell brass shell is priced at Ł1655!!!! and that's less than the RRP of Ł1899!!! i don't want to start another lars flaming war here, i know it's probably overpriced for 2 reasons:
1 - it's tama (big brand name)
2 - it's got lars/metallica on it
now i've never bought a new snare drum, but to me that price is absolutely insane! no matter who it is!

anything with a drummers name on it is usually not worth the money, it...

It's not really that overpriced, it's just bell brass, which is a REAL...

Exept the Akira Jimbo Sig snare.

The average bell brass is 1000 DOLLARS.

Isnt the rgular Tama bell brass more than the Lars sig? And not al...

They do 2 Lars signature snares (to my knowledge) - one is steel RRP Ł...

i appreciate not everything made by tama is a rip off, it's just that ...
