The "Bassists That are Too Good for Their Band" thread got me thinking...ever hear a band with tons of talent, but their bassist sucks and does nothing? Ever hear a band with tones of talent, but their bassist sucks, and say to yourself aloud, "Wow, I could do a way better job than him/her..." We all have.

This isn't the "bash [x] bassist" thread...just give a band you think you would be able to excel in musically, i.e., replace the bassist and say what that bassist does wrong and what you could do better...

A lot of the screamo bands I listen to have awesome melodies and riffs, but the bassist just follows the double bass drum with generic picked root notes...I think I could do a pretty good job than most screamo bands.

You get the idea.
