Wasnt sure where to put this & decided this would be the best place...

im am currently building a guitar and am nearing the painting stage but have no idea what sort of paint to use or where to get it. i want it to be metallic black and that can be hard to find im guessing... but my dad owns a wholesale art buisness so i can probably get it cheap & relatively easily, but what sort of paint? acrylic? what? thanks
