i'm gonna start doing morning exercises because i know that in the morning after an extended period of rest are your muscle fibers are most susceptible to tear and subsequent reconstruction, and since i play soccer and run throughout the day, i might as well just do upper body excercises in the morning. i've been doing it for 3 days and i've been doing 25 pushups (good pushups, not what you saw in gym class) and 30 crunches, but then should i after a 5 minute break come back and do another set of say 20 and 25 or something? also, i'm trying to work my arms and mainly chest on the first one and my abs on the second, so based on that, would pushups and crunches be the best things to do? also, what's the best way to do crunches? i dunno, i just feel like they're so amorphous, like rather than with pushups where each pushup is very clear, i'm just kinda leaning up a bit and sometimes bringing my knees down when i do a crunch. it just doesn't feel right; i don't know if you could understand what i meant with that.
