I'm tryna choose between a Fender MIM Jazz V and a Fender MIM Deluxe Jazz V... is the active EQ really worth the extra money, or are there other differences like better wood? If the EQ isnt worth such a difference in price tag but none the less sounds good, would it be a good idea to buy the passive one and buy a better preamp later?
