I'm thinking about replacing my snare stand with the Tama Air Ride Snare stand complete with the mounting brace and everything. I have a Chad smith sig snare. I was wondering what people think about this stand and will it work good with my snare. Will the snare wobble more since it is mounted by the rim and not by the base of the drum? Do I need to buy new rims or is there some kind of adaptor on the snare mount?
