i have bought a new jack and plate for my strat.
the problem is that the old one had 2wires that where shielded gong from it to the pot that they are connected to.
the new one i bought has 2 seperate wires...i do not know wich wire i link to the two differnt points on the pot. i have a brown wire and a white wire coming from the jack. the white one is linked to the little plate that sticks up to link to the very end of the jack plug?

any help apreciated....thanks allot.
