I learned a quite a few things about my musical tastes and other things while I was on this deployment.

Bands I listened to and actually like and am learning now:
Lincoln Park
Evanescense
Dust for Life
Godsmack
Incubus
Nickelback
Alterbridge
Dream Theater
Staind
Megadeath
Drowning Pool
and a few others I can't remember at the moment.

Other stuff I realized;
The Sony NetMD player is awesome. (got one while on cruise)
The Sony PSP is the best personal portable game system out there. (got one while on cruise)
Alot more people actually like Country music than will actually admit.
Light polution sucks. On a dark night, you can see millions of stars. It's beautiful.
The ocean is one bad mutha!
Musical instrument prices in Europe suck. Way too expensive.
