Hmm....I'm looking for a good combo amp thats good for practicing and for practice jams so it has to be heard over the drums and bass. I'll eventually get a bigger amp when I have enough money in the future. I was thinking about these vox valvetronics(sp?). They are the same amp except one is 30 watts and the other is 50 watts.

They get excellent ratings and I saw some major bargains on ebay for these amps. If anyone can give me advice on these amps or if you have a better suggestion for a better practice amp for under $300(some exceptions), I'll appreciate it. I mostly play hard rock, but from these ratings these vox amps can play almost anything.

I like the Vox Valvetronics, they are really cool for bedroom stuff.

I don't know much about amps, but those both seem pretty decent to me.

just a practice amp? go to guitar center and find a used amp.
