OK i have two quick questions for you guys!

1: How do you remove the Recycle bin icon from your desktop..

and

2: whenever I double click a folder to open it up, instead of opening it, it opens up the search window for that folder like so..



This is extreemly irritating and I would like to know if any of you could help me... Thanks in advance
