You wanted them and I'm not above whoring out my equipment, especially when I'm so darned proud of it.
I picked it up last weekend, which required a 10 hour drive(though I spent the night at my friends). It came with a EV 2x15 cab that's really beaten up and a pain in the ass to move around. I'm definitly getting rid of that and will pick up a nice new cab in the next couple of months(I'm open to suggestions by the way). The last owner wasn't none too nice to it, it fell on it's face at least twice but thankfully the damage was artificial and easily repaired.
Sadly, I haven't been able to really push it as it'll be at least two more weeks until the new practice space is ready to move into. So far it's sounding great though, huge and very tubey. The compressor is a nice feature but I really don't need it much, except when I play hard with a pick. I'm totally in love with the second gain channel though, the overdrive is really beautiful, from slight grit to a huge distorted bark. The clean channel is great at, well, clean sounds. One thing that immediatly hit me was that my highs now sound much more musical and less harsh than they did with the Peavey Megabass.
Well, there you have it. A full review will follow as soon as I've given it a thorough workout in a couple of weeks.
