Ok well I'm gonna be getting a band together soon, and our style is mostly ska/punk, alternative rock-ish i would say. My budget is (MAX) $600, would a used Les Paul junior work out for me?

Would that be the best choice? And whats the best way to go about getting a used guitar... you cant try em otu on ebay.
