So I'm the percussionist in a musical in which we will be using an electric kit, so my musical director rented one and said I could keep it at my place to figure it out and practice before our next rehearsal. So she brings it to my house yesterday in this giant box, and I'm expecting just a cheap rubber pad set, but I open it up and see....

A Roland TD-8 V drums set!

Twas a nice surprise. I spent several hours yesterday setting it up and playing around with it; electric kits are so fun! My only complaint is that I didn't have a good amp to use with it. I just ended up using my crappy little guitar amp so the sound quality is not the greatest.

So anyway, here's pics!
