Posted at October 26, 2016, 12:46 am: I've had an idea for redesigning the site (actually I've had it for months), basically, you have a main page where all the updates and site news is posted and where you can also access the rest of the site Here is a mock up I made in PS Design (1280x1024 There are several reasons for doing this First, is that all updates and news are on the main page, I don't know if you've been told this, but its annoying having to guess which series have been updated (and just as annoying opening up a download page to check, because the pages are slow to load and there is the odd pop-up), it might also save a bit of bandwidth (i.e. leechers just check the main page and leave), it also makes sure that people read any site news Secondly it splits the manga from the forums, it probably doesn't matter to most people, but I find it slightly annoying having the download links on the forums page, when I enter ST, all I see is a load of links when what I'm interested in is the forums, and I can't be bothered to scroll. It may also slightly decrease the load time of the forum page. You'll also be able to organise the download links however you want on a new page (I suggest organizing them into groups by letter) Thirdly, you have a compiled list of rules on the main page, so now there is no excuse, you also have the paypal button on the main page There is also the links page, where you can put links to affiliates or more importantly, sites like www.mangaupdates.com and www.animenewsnetwork.com so that people looking for info about series and scanlators And finally (I probably have some more ideas, but its 01:40am), it allows for expansion. If you ever expand ST, you will be able to add a link to the navigation box.
