Kimimaro was the strongest of Oro's subordinates, heir of the Kaguya Clan with a bloodline ability to manipulate his bone structure (He can protrude them out, make an armor under skin, shoot them like bullets, make weapons etc..). Gifted with an endless supply of bones stronger than steel and a regeneration ability to repair any physical damage almost instantly. A taijutsu master, inmune to physical harm (In Oro's own words), unbeatable in close combat and also good in mid and long range (he can even attack from underground). He made quick work of a thousand kyuubi powered Naruto's clones, he countered Lee's Omote renge effortlessly. He was able to withstand Gaara's most devastating attacks, including the dessert coffin, sand avalanches and been buried like 200 meters underground
Kimmimaro is insane, in the manga you see him beat up all the sound 4 at the same time (one panel) with what looked like little effort. He didn't lose to Gaara, he infact would won if he wasnt sick, and its a fact because the Gaara said it himself. Even though im a Gaara fan as you can clearly tell i acknowledge that the fight between Gaara and kimmimaro wasn't that close. I mean at the end of the battle really Gaara did hardly any damage to kimmimaro at all, he got back from everything Gaara threw at him. Imagining him healthy is just insane

In his final attack he made a forest of bones while buried 200 mts underground, Gaara and lee barely survived thanks to Gaaras shield and levitation ability. The lenght of his bones reached more than 200 mts!!! This is incredible and more for a dying man. Can you imagine the power of this attack not underground but on the surface? Probably a steel porcupine with a size of hundreds of meters spreading in all directions a lot faster, with only the air as resistance. This could be one of the most devastating attacks ever! I cant figure out how can anyone escape from it without flying
