Posted at August 27, 2015, 5:32 am: Have any of you guys ever heard of it? Realism gaming is where you try to conduct yourselves as close to real life as possible. That would include server-sided plugins that would only allow you to spawn once, take away your icons above teamates' heads, take away your map, make it to where your voice can only be heard by people close to you (including your enemies), make it to where you have iron sights, taking away of death messages (including scores; basically makes it to where you don't have any idea of who is alive or not), and other things. This basically makes Day of Defeat a whole different experience You work together as a team to take out the opposition. This also leads to some very intense situations, such as not knowing if your team is alive or dead. This can lead to some very very tense situations (You type Report In, and no one types back, and then you hear someone jump). Basically, this is why I have dropped off of this forum for the most part (to those who remember me at all) Realism units have different ranks, and depending on what rank you are is what weapons you can use. I didn't know if you had ever heard of something like this, so I just wanted to let you guys have the oppertunity of hearing about this.
