Does anyone know of sites where a retail buyer, or, for that fact, a wholesaler could list, specifically, what they're looking for? This site would be where someone goes in the ninth inning, just before their ready to purchase say a television or MP3; they must have the model number. They post what they'll pay for it, similar to how airline tickets and hotels are being sold on Priceline.com.

Sellers then come along, see the posting and either meet the price or beat it, in which case the buyer would do even better.

Buyer is boxed in with a credit card or escrow of some sort that would assure payment to seller. Similarly, if a seller doesn't ship, he must pay buyer a penalty either from a credit card or escrow, etc., established in advance.

This could be done with one television or 100.

Anyone ever heard of this or similar?
