Hello- I'm a newbie. I'm hoping someone out there knows how to create a professional-looking photo greeting card without using a web-based service like Snapfish etc

Can this be done? Is there a software program that can take a professional photo and resize it to cover the entire front of a greeting card to be printed at home so it looks like a "real" greeting card

I can't find this info on the web at all so I'm going to the experts
