i worked on this yesterday almost all day, my first huge painting, i got the whole layout. Now there are some things i need to say, this is my first photoshop painting, i made use of all brushes i can use, and made some of my own.
For the grass i tried to stop from using the generic grass brush, but it was too tempting, i may paint over that.
The cliffs were first shaped and then i found a picture of a cliff in google, and use that as a brush, then i thought to my self and realized that could be stealing, so i may need to make my own brush. i dont have pictures of cliffs i own, any tips of making a textured brush, so it will look like or better than the cliffs you see now?
and one last major thing, the background is too empty, i was going to place a huge storm cloud, but i liked the nice sunny feel. Any suggestions? heck you can paintover if you wish, we could make this a free for all thread and play a game called what are we looking at
and can you give your crits on this if you can? thanks.
i just realized while reviewing my work i could blend of some parts, and make the cliff in the foreground a bit darker at it goes a bit left.
