Hello,
I've been working on the head for an upcoming (next year) golden demon entry; a demon prince.
I think I made an error in that I should have made more of an armature around the nose/mouth using thin copper wire so that the super sculpey can grab it. Now, when working around the nose/mouth, it's soft so can't really seem to smoothen it.
WHat I may do is bake it..then when hard, sand areas down a bit, then use pro-create and apoxysculpt to add stuff like nose, etc.
Note: the ears look bad since hair will cover them so don't care Also, I have plans for the eyes/mouth (will add eye lids, but no eye ball..want them empty like a void) and mouth will have effect like Keanu Reeves in matrix when his mouth started to seal up and he opens it and there are gabs between his flesh...
Anyways, and Ideas on how to smoothen this? I've used a brush with turpenoid.
(FYI - I may end up finishing this head, then doing another with a better armature, etc and see how that turns out and use the best one).
I am using a mix of about 60:40 supersculpey firm: supersculpey regular.
