Once the aqueducts fed both towers and the double spray created rainbows and showering sparks of light to bedeck the ceremonies of the matriarchs. The invaders broke the aqueducts and they pour their life giving waters randomly apon the land. Mysteriously the North tower is still a fountain, although as far as anyone can tell it is no longer attached to any source.
