Hello all, a bit more uncommon challenge here. Originally the challenge was performed by me, but it's fair to say it was a common decision to go this far. The backstories, tasks, time schedules and other specific information is to be posted next
Autocrat Of the Star
The year 2915 the great empire of Czar Nicolai which consisted of 72 separate planets and colonies splat into two separate empires. The rebelling duke Frederick VIIX lead the 32 outer rim planets into straight military rebellion, the 32 rebelling planets and colonies formed the Reich union, all submitting under the supreme power of Kaiser Frederick, who in return promised them to put together a parliament to control his actions. The outer rim planets joyfully joined the rebellion, since the controlling Czar Nicolai's empire performed a very unfair taxing to the outer rims while cutting the taxes in the core empire and holding a steady amount of royal parties
The technology itself is far supreme that any of today and space travel is a common things. The technology reflects late 19th and early 20th century technology. For example warships, look at early 20th century naval ships. The largest warships withhold about 3000-4000 large crew. Close combat isn't common, battles that last days and number in hundreds of thousands of warships are more likely to happen. Imagine the early 18th century naval battles
The culture reflects upon 17th - 20th century Russian culture in the empire of Czar Nicolai and 19th -20th century within the Reich Union. The Czarist empire has two classes of people, the working class and the aristocrats. The working class is relatively very poor and mostly military while the aristocrats live their life well and are automatically in command. Only aristocrats can achieve high ranks in the military
The Reich empire has lower, middle and higher classes. There is the commanding aristocrats but their birth given rights are limited and even the lower class of people have the right to achieve same ranks in the military, that the aristocrats do
With architecture, the Czarist empire likes to show off a lot. Lots of gold, royal banners and paintings. The Reich empire has it generally toned down a little, since they are economically in a worse state and their strong militaristic ideals call for the balance of functionality and beauty. Never the less, the people of the era still reflect on the nobles of the 17th - 20th century
CZAR EMPIRE (Korpi)
(1.1) The Czarist aristocratic military outfit. They must be usable in war as well in royal ceremonies
(1.2) The Czarist Royal warships, design one long range warship. Make sure it has a cannon that can shoot beams far, reflecting the early naval battles. Also close range anti-aircraft guns must be presented. But remember, these are ships of the future and must have the high-tech presented as well. Must reflect upon the idea of Hussars.
(2.1) The Czarist Royal Palace within the empires capital planet Saint Nicolai. It's the place where royal ceremonies, royal parties and meetings with the emperor are held. The emperor also lives there with hundreds of servants. Imagine the the Royal Palace in Japan, but make it pop out more. Present preferably an interior view of the palace throne hall, with a happening there and an outside birds eye-view of it
(2.2.1)Combine a scene: A party of Czarist nobles withhold a party in the imperial city, clearly seeing the royal palace in the horizon. At the same time a royal fleet is taking off from the city. Make it dramatic and let them really show their enthusiasm for the war
(2.2.2)Combine a scene: The Czarist empire battling the Reich in space, make it look like space opera where lots of people die
REICH EMPIRE (Sept13)
(1.1) Reich aristocratic military outfit: same rules as with Czarist
(1.2) The Reich Warship: Design one long range warship. Same rules as with the Czarist design. Reflect upon prussian militaristic ideals and the heavy lancers of the 16th century
(2.1) The parliament palace. The Reich capital planet Tannhäuser withholds the combined parliament and palace. Within it the emperor and the parliament share power. Only expection is that the emperor is the supreme ruler of the army. Present the royal throne room and the order of authority with in. The architecture reflects upon neo-classism and modernism. Design it in birds eye-view as well
(2.2.1) Combine a scene: Military ceremony where the soldiers are boarding the warships and the fleet is taking off. Let the architecture of the imperial city show up behind it. It must be clear that these soldiers are going into war and there's people sending them off in a very celebrating way. The ceremony happens in a military air station
(2.2.2) Combine a scene: the Reich empire battling the Czarist Empire in space, make it look like space opera where lots of people die
