Hi,

I need some help from current web designers in regards to a big decision i am thinkin about making. Currently, I live in San Diego and would like to stay down here. I am planning to attend the IMD program at the Art Institute of San Diego soon. The program itself is everything that I want to learn but I still have doubts mainly because I have heard that this institute isn't that good. Obviously, the instructors and staff members beg to differ.

I am seeking a career in web development, that involves XHTML/CSS/javascript/photoshop/illustrator/flash, etc. However, I am not planning to be a strict programmer so a technical school or a computer science degree is out of the question. I just wanted to know if any of you have taken the IMD program at the Art Institute, and if not, what other school would you recommend to jump into the web industry?


any input, feedback, or suggesions is greatly appreciated.
