I'm considering going to this area (Vancouver, BC) to work with some people in game development (not as a concept artist, I am a newbie). I was hoping to take some classes there as well and wanted to know if anyone here had experience with the Art Institute of Vancouver www.aiv.aii.edu. I had it recommended to me but in the interest of making the best decision possible I would like to know more. So if you have heard anything about it or attended, please share.

I already have a BA in Philosophy, so I would be taking this to get a jump start in some more artistic areas of game development and not so much for any degree. The program I am most interested in is "Game Art and Design" but general information about the school or even the surrounding area would be appreciated.
