I'm looking for some information as part of a project I'm working on.

Check out this site and view the animation there for the new digital graphic novel Metal Gear Solid by the Konami company. It's a new innovative type of animation.
Could anyone here tell me how this was done, what software might have been used to create it? If it's something I can obtain, I might try doing it myself otherwise I may have to hire some talent.
