Further to the article on the pen tool. I just wonderd if anyone has a solution to a problem I have. In photoshop it's easy to use the pen tool to create selections. you can draw paths within paths and easily create complex cut outs. In painter 9.5 I find that grouping all the shapes and then converting to selections results in the external shapes cancelling out the internals. Any tips or suggestions about where I could be going wrong. I'm sure this has worked in painter before. I use riffs a lot so it's not always practical to convert to PSD to do this in PS. Thanks in advance.
