Posted at October 6, 2006, 8:00 am: So I have been dabling with Photoshop and a mouse since 4-5 years now (before that also to fix photos and posters up). But about a monh and a half ago I got me a Tablet. I might not have gotten the one that everyone thinks you should have, but I got me one I could afford, and that got suggested because it can take being abused (I got two toddlers at home, durability outweighs being able to create photo-quality images at this point). I got meself a Trust 1200 v-2. However, besides this fact, what is peoples favoured way to draw/paint in Photoshop with a tablet? Do you paint/draw in layers? Do you use any specific palettes? Any preffered background colours? Any prefered sets of brushes? Also, at the same time I'd like to ask a question regarding Photoshop CS 2. I have found that when I change brushes (using the [ and ], though on my swedish keyboard that is . and ,) that it changes back to some "generic" brush settings. So if I have removed the "Size Jitter - Pen Preassure" then the programme will reset this one. Is there any way I can get around this? Or can I alter the settings so that the "generic" setting is how I want it to be? I rarely use the Size Jiter setting unless Im doing some very fine details, and at this point Im just trying to learn to draw proper with tablet and Ps.
