i'll take the first hit: im fairly moderate at photoshop, but i certainly dont know everything. heres a few issues i need help with.

1. i downloaded some custom brushes from other artists both here and elsewhere.. but HOW do i open them in PS? ive tried many things like placing them in the brush preset folder and directly opening them but the brushes dont seem to load when i start PS. anyone wanna un-retard me on this one? id appreciate it.

2. i have a few of the instructional dvd's from the Gnomon workshop.. and ive noticed many of the artists are able to 'magically' shrink the size of their brush in real-time on screen. HOW! i need to know this.. anyone have the answers?
