I noticed that many amateur photographers tend to make many of there pics BW ( including me )
I do think that people use BW as an dramatization excuse to often.
example:
"Ow this comp is not that good... and so is the lighting
*HOCUSFOCUS* ey its BW : D.. jolly good.. looks alot better "
I must admit that many pics look good in BW, but only a select number of pics actually REALLY work in BW.
What do you guys think about this? : O

Agreed, mainly because thats what I do part of the time.
Some shots look great in b&w others may look better in colour- eg...
The advantage of b&w as a learning tool is that it is one less var...
