Well I have decided to start this log after reading others with little progress
so I hoping I can do better, and may be help others along the way?

I have been pretty skinny my whole life along with bad habits and poor nutrition but have recently devoted myself to training and learning better
eating habits!

I just started working out more back on about 4/2/06 only to be in a little motorcross flip and sprained my ankle and messed my knee up pretty good, still having problems with ankle 5 months later!

To make a long story short I was 5'11 155lbs and not in very good shape,
after going clean on 4/20/06,and after my best friend DOOM died I got serious!
I started rippetoes about 2 weeks ago after about 4 months or more off and have already put on 15lbs and going up to 170lbs as of now!

I really just want other newbies like me to know it can be done If you put your mind to it, and stay away from drugs!
hopefully I will get more of the results Ive seen and have been looking for??


I have a BODY BY JAKE bench-rack, Bowflex ultimate,Total gym XL,Speedbag
and have already had great results after getting the 210lb wieder weight set for the bench.

I just started a log book to keep progress notes and will post them after everyweek to let others see my progress and hopefully with good results??

As of now Iam doing WORKOUT A

ass to the grass BB squats 90lbs 3x5 after warm up set this is my weak point!!

Flat Bench 140lbs 3x5

Deads 180lbs 1x5 back is still killin me lol

No dip bars yet!! Coming soon hopefully??

I mostly eat eggs, bannanas,oatmeal,strawberries,chickenbreast,whey shakes,mashed taters,blueberries,PB and steak once in awhile.

Still dont have a set meal plan & thats my downfall but open for suggestions.

I have my PWO shake with 2 scoops of ons whey,1 bannana,5g creapure,1 cup of milk and maybe a 1/2 cup blueberries.

WILL POST MY WORKOUT B AFTER TONIGHTs LIFTs.

Still not sure what a pendlay is and not finding it in search so have been doing the bent row.


Also post pics so you can see progress, after I get a digital camera,my cell phone picks wont load?

Well I tried going 3x5 155lbs on the bench but on the last set only go...

I think I may have torn my shoulder on 9/21 WO so I took 4 days off, ...

Well feelin alot better, still a little stiff towards my pecks and arm...

take it easy on that shoulder man, make sure yo uare 100% before going...

Thought I was 100% today but after WO I did leg raises and felt some p...

finally able to do pullups now with no shoulder pain =0) Squats 3x5...

Had a good WO tonight had a little pain until I warmed up, went at it ...

Was gonna take another monday off but after last weeks gains I just co...

Pretty good workout tonight susprised myself on the squats.
