Posted at January 27, 2016, 12:59 am: I've been on the cut diet for about 7 weeks now and I just thought I'd share my experiences/thoughts on it. First off, it's an awesome diet. Definately living up to everything I've heard about it. I started off at 202lbs, 5'7", and around 16%bf. Currently I'm at 191lbs. Not sure what my bf is but I'm much leaner. The diet was a little rough the first few weeks; I was kind of tired and sluggish also some of my lifts were going down. After a few weeks though I felt great and currently some of my lifts are stronger than they were when I was bulking which is just amazing. In terms of the diet, it gets a little boring, but for the most part I haven't been feeling to hungry because I have to eat so often. One thing I've noticed, especially now that I'm getting leaner, is that I still seem depleted after the refeed. I've changed it a little so I'm eating 1.5 cups green beans followed by 2.5 cups oatmeal, 1 tablespoon smart balance, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons raisins, and 18 almonds. I've felt better and had more energy since. Just thought I'd share my experience. I guess I was also wondering since I was feeling a little depleted after the refeed, was adding more carbs the right move or was there anything else I maybe should have done? I've never done a real cut before, so this is a great learing experience to see what works for me. Sorry thepost was a little long, but thanks for the great diet.
